About/Contact

I’m Brian Lynchehaun, in my 40s, Irish, and moved to Vancouver in 2006. I completed my BA in Philosophy in UBC, while taking a variety of other courses in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Psychology, and others. I’m interested in everything, although my (academic) reach often exceeds my grasp. Moving to Vancouver was probably the best decision of my life.

I lived in Japan from April 2011 to October 2012, in a city called Mito. My primary goal was to improve my Japanese, so it was a moderate success. To pay the bills, I taught English at a company that offered ‘conversation classes’. I enjoyed teaching quite a lot.

This blog is intended to be my outlet for a variety of topics, most of which I’ll be coming at from Philosophy. My main interests are social justice, economic disparity, ethics, and science.

I have given public talks and debates the in past, and am more than happy to do so again in the future. If you’re interested in engaging me as a speaker, please feel free to contact me at your leisure.
